Metalwork has been part of Balinese culture since the Bronze Age. The tiny island is known for the quality and skill of their metal smiths. In fact, the word ‘pandai’ means both ‘smith’ and ‘clever’. Our collection showcases several jewelry making techniques that are unique to the area, including Snake Weaving, Granulation and Borobudur.
